TAC! Festival 2025. Fondeado(ero)

The pavilion is this place suspended between the sea and history, where the traces of the port are drawn, as well as those of the spaces for trade and cultural exchange that once rose ephemeral between the harbor and the city—the threshold that connects Alicante to the Mediterranean.

The architecture of this pavilion does not seek to directly represent a ship, a port, or a market hall, but rather to evoke sensations that bring you closer to the past and the sea: the light spreading as the day progresses, the swaying of shadows, the gentle breeze, and the whisper of what is yet to come. At the same time, it creates a shared, covered space—more fixed, more stable—where light filters through awnings that dance in the wind, the murmur of conversations, and the warmth of the sun between the shadows, crafting an atmosphere of life and tradition.
